Parineeti Chopra’s ivory-themed wedding to Raghav Chadha has become a topic of discussion among fashion enthusiasts. Many could not get over the serene and soulful images of the happy couple, who looked so much in love. The actor’s kaliras are also making much noise given the sweet story behind it. As per jewelery designer Mrinalini Chandra, Parineeti decided to flaunt the many moments when she met Raghav and their love story took shape.
Taking to social media, the designer gave a lowdown on Parineeti Chopra‘s kalira motifs. She also lauded the actor’s ‘impeccable taste and discerning eye’ and how Parineeti picked each and every element ensuring that it symbolises her journey with Raghav.
“The story of Parineeti & Raghav is truly a modern-day fairytale, the most organic and beautiful coming together of two worlds that are wide apart yet equally complex. She chose each and every element, ensuring that they symbolize her journey with Raghav in the most love-filled way. At first glance, the Kalira appears to be dainty ornaments cascading from the bangle. However, its true beauty lies in the underlying story it conveys—a tale of love. The design of these Kaliras is very special. Each motif represents a moment of serendipity, a chance encounter when their paths crossed in a cosmic dance,” Chandra wrote.

The designer shared a sketch of the kaliaras, and one can see their initials, a cupcake, a gramophone, a coffee mug, an airplane and the Om and Ek Onkar symbols. As it’s been reported how Parineeti and Raghav met in London, there are quite many motifs symbolising the same. From the London Eye, the buses, and even the telephone booth, the bride celebrated her love story in the most special way.
